Why fighting with Hope?

For most cancer patients, hearing the 3 simple words "you have cancer" is the most devastating news they could ever hear. We know that feeling. Emily heard those words in April 2019. As a young healthy 27-year-old, colon cancer was the last thing either of us ever expected to face. Since that time, we have faced countless ups and downs as she continues with treatment. Through it all, though, we have discovered the power and necessity of having a real and lasting hope. Our hope rests solely in the only place strong enough to sustain us along our cancer journey, Jesus. We have learned a lot about what cancer patients (and those closest to them) need to survive and flourish. We feel God has uniquely equipped us to share what we have learned to help other cancer patients physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Together we are forced to struggle and fight to find hope.

That is why we started Fighting With Hope.

what do we do?

We send care packages to men, women, and children who are facing a cancer diagnosis or are in the middle of treatment.
